I never imagined just how busy life can get. Having a family of six kids, working, going to school, and still trying to find time to do things I like, such as gardening, is sometimes really hard to keep up with. It is even harder to stay in touch with family and friends, even though I want to and feel it's important. I have finally come up with a solution to make it easy for everyone! Here, I can post our latest family news and everyone can check it out when it is convenient for them.

February 1, 2014
Alec & Tanthalas moved back home to Illinois. Of course the rest of the kids came to see them. (Glynn couldn't be here because he's still on deployment). No family visit is ever complete without the traditional silly face picture. Our kids sure know how to have fun!

This has been a really hard winter. We've wished for a big snow for many years, but this year we've had more than enough. Since we bought this house in 2001, this is the firs time we've actually had to hire someone to come and dig us out.
Christmas 2013
We had a great visit with the kids, Sherri's parents, and her sister's family. Everyone had a great time!
